With the weather finally changing in Georgia, many people are perplexed on what to wear during the transitioning of the seasons when the weather is a little in-between; not quite hot, but also not yet cold. My favorite article of clothing to wear during fall is a cardigan. A cardigan is a knitted open front garment worn like a jacket. I’ve put together a few outfits with cardigans to show you easy ways to include them in your transition to fall outfits.

Cardigans make it so much easier to continue wearing some of your favorite summer outfits that you’re not quite ready to let go. Here’s a denim dress that I paired with a cardigan for a cute fall look.

While cardigans are a classic in my book, they have been trending the last few years. Many trendsetters are now buying them not only to wear as an outer garment, but also as a button-up shirt/sweater. Another trend is the two-piece top and cardigan that are sold in a matching set.
