HOME & GARDENING

The Home that Got Away!

I absolutely love looking at homes; everything from the interior and exterior to the garden, so when I came across this home I instantly fell in love. If you’re familiar with Selling Sunset; the popular reality show on Netflix, then you too may have caught a glimpse of Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet’s lovely wedding venue in season 2. It is one of the most elegant homes I’ve laid eyes on here in the USA, so of course I had to see more. I did a little research and I’m here to share the tea.

The gated estate is located in Los Angeles, California. Although it’s listed as traditional, the design and theme of this home is without a doubt French-style; from the gravel driveway and ivy that covers the front of the home to the French doors and loads of windows that allows light to freely flow in. It boasts 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. It features a formal living room and dining room, an amazing chef’s kitchen and beautiful multi-tone hardwood floors throughout. Scroll down to find out more about this beauty.

The grand staircase leads to the master’s suite with a huge master bath and secondary bedrooms. The designer did an incredible job! You can’t even tell it received its major remodel in 1960 or built in 1939 for that matter!

And of course, they went the extra mile of making sure your list is complete with a detached guesthouse and in-ground pool.

Unfortunately, this home sold the day of Mary’s wedding and is off the market hence the title, but being priced at over 9 million dollars did it really get away from most of us besides in our dreams LOL! Well, now that I have you hoping and dreaming, it’s time for me to say goodbye. I hope you’ve enjoyed this home as much as I have. If so, tell me what you liked most about it.
