Gardening doesn’t have to be expensive. Here are a few ways to save money by using recycled gardening materials.
- Soil- You can reuse the soil of old planters or plants that have died. I suggest watering the soil thoroughly and letting it sit for a day before use. Make sure the old plant had no pests or diseases as to not spread it to new plants.
- Recycled Containers– Recycle water bottles by cutting them in half or use old containers to plant new seeds. Wash thoroughly!
- Homemade Compost– Make your own homemade compost from leftover fruit and veggies
- Collect Seeds– You can collect seeds from flowers to make new flowers rather than continuously buying new seeds and flowers.
