Isabelle Dias’ Guide Is Everything You Need for a Successful 2022
Isabelle Dias did a live session on “How to Live Your Best Year Yet” via Pinterest Live TV and it’s everything we’ve ever needed to truly have our best year yet. She educated us on how we’ve been doing our New Year’s resolutions all wrong. Her technique is so simple yet life-changing. Here’s everything you need to know.
Don’t write long lists or pages and pages of New Year’s resolutions- Isabelle advises narrowing our goals to just a short list (perhaps 3 or 4 goals)
Don’t focus on writing down plans or things we want to do or items we want to obtain- Rather than writing down plans or “things” we want, according to Isabelle, we should instead focus on how we want to feel in the New Year. What feelings do we want to experience in 2022? Write these feelings down as goals.
Don’t think we have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to achieving or seeking ways to achieve our written “feelings” goals.- Isabelle suggested remembering a time in the past when we last felt the feeling we wrote down for our New Year Resolutions. Think about what we were doing in the past to feel those positive feelings, these memories are the key to feeling that way again. Write down what we did to get the feelings we’re seeking for 2022
Don’t try to complete all goals at once- Because goals can be overwhelming, her advice was to pick one daily action that we can commit to that will steer us in the direction of our goal, then narrowing it down to 10-30 minutes a day or whatever is manageable for us.
Don’t try to complete our goals alone.- Isabelle reminded us of the importance of community. She recommended finding people who are on our same path which will help keep us motivated.
This is a very short list, but it’s powerful, right? I’m so glad I tuned in. The only thing I can add to this list is to go back and look at your list every 3 months. If any goal is already a habit within those 3 months, go ahead and scratch it off because that goal is now your life. If you’re already living it, you no longer need it on a list. Afterwards, you can re-access where you are and write down a new feeling/goal you seek to accomplish. Continue to check back every 3 months and start again. I am certain you’re going to be surprised how Isabelle’s technique is a game changer and will guide you into living your best life.
