Have You Tried It? Post 9

To change things up a bit for the featured “Have You Tried it”, today, I’m going to share with you two Black-owned companies which are both owned by women and worthy of showing support. This is not an ad, these are products that are tried and true and simply worth sharing.

The first company is one that I use to buy all of my natural haircare products; Karen’s Body Beautifu. I was introduced to Karen’s products many years ago when they were sold in Target. She has since moved into her own building and sells online via her own website; karensbodybeautiful.com. If you read the ingredients in many of the natural haircare products on the market, you’ll see them full of what I call “filler” ingredients which are ingredients companies use to simply fill the bottle such as alcohols and cheap oils. However, Karen uses ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba oils, and castor oils . She suggests products based on each hair type so you’d have no problem finding the right products for you. My hair is 4c so I need thick creams and oils. My favorites are the Sweet Ambrosia Leave- In Conditioner, Butter Love Hair & Body, and Beauty Boss Hair & Body.

The second company is Mine By Marquisha. Her website is www.etsy.com/shop/MineByMarquishaBaker. My daughter has been using her products for a few months now and has seen a major difference in her eczema and skin. My daughter uses the Rose Glow Serum, Black Soap, and Glow Serum. This is yet another company that uses quality ingredients without all the fillers which gets excellent results.
