Flower Power Monday Post 20

Happy Monday, guys! I am feeling full of cherished memories from this weekend! We took short trip to South Georgia to spend time with family. I hadn’t visited my in-laws in over 3 years partially due to the pandemic and the other part just so caught up and tired from everyday life. Although, we didn’t even stay a whole day, we were able to get in a lot of love, good food, & good music. Highlights from my weekend included seeing not only my 6-year-old niece again, but also holding my 6-month-old niece whom I met for the first time, having a movie on the lawn Saturday night when we first arrived, making strawberry shortcakes I prepared for everyone, eating some good ole’ smothered turkey wings prepared by my mother-in-law on Sunday, going through a few photo albums with my husband’s aunt, and just all the laughs shared with everyone in the short amount of time we had. There was nothing but great energy and positive vibes flowing.

Today’s flower to give you power comes from the RosAroma pot roses collection from Kordes Roses. When my daughter spotted these mini roses, she just knew I would love them, and boy was she right! My daughter purchased the cream pink RosaAroma for me and I quickly became obsessed; researching where they came from and how long they’ve been introduced. The RosAroma rose was bred by Kordes Roses in cooperation with Rosa Danica. It is exceptional! The roses come in salmon pink, pastel yellow, light yellow, light pink, and my personal favorite cream pink. It is indeed the perfectly shaped and colored rose. The outer petals are white while the inner petals are a blush pink. The only downside of this rose is if it dries out, it can quickly go downhill much faster than regular mini roses making it a bit needier in my opinion. In addition, its dried roses aren’t as pretty as regular mini roses either. However, their beauty makes up for any and all flaws. As you can see, they are picture perfect. Happy Monday!
