Flower Power Monday Post 14

Yesterday was the first day my heart fully welcomed winter. For the first time, rather than dreaming and wishing for Spring, I took in everything winter has to offer and embraced it. Ok, yes, it snowed and yes, the snow made me scream and jump for joy. My husband wondered how something as simple as snow can change an early morning mood so quickly. It made him smile to see me so happy. You would’ve thought it was Christmas the way I ran upstairs and woke up my kids.

I brought in my remaining potted flowers. I know my neighbors were like “really, she’s even playing with her plants in the snow lol.” Pretty sure they all have nicknames for me. Pictured below are some potted hydrangeas and only a small percentage of my potted plants.

Today, no matter where you are or what you have going on, embrace today! There may not be a whole lot of beauty in it, but quiet your thoughts, cease all the wishing and dreaming and just focus on the present.
