Flower Power Mondays

FPM- A is for Azalea

Flower Power Monday

They line our garden beds and never fail to give us a spectacular show before quickly dropping their flowers in retreat to gain energy for its next flowering season: the next year, ugh. I used to think Azaleas were highly overrated, yes, they’re gorgeous, but come’ on; all that time for such a short flowering season, I needed more. However, they’ve recently redeemed themselves in my book. I purchased an azalea for my oldest daughter’s room (ok, if you follow this blog, I know you’re wondering just how many flowers come and go from this room lol).

Pink Azalea on Table

This beauty simply stole my heart; it’s beautiful flowers actually made me take extra trips upstairs, to my daughter’s room, just to behold its beauty; and checking everyone’s room while up there each time was just a bonus. This azalea proved to me they can last as it’s already been a month and it still has blooms, but of course I have to constantly keep it cleaned up as it ages.

Azalea in Daughter’s Bedroom

For this look, I already had the blue pot which fit perfectly and accented my daughter’s table really well. While I didn’t find this exact table for you guys, here are 3 tables to choose from, with the last one (if not all of them) looking even better than mine. Don’t forget to go through the other colors and finishes offered from each seller.

If you have a solid colored table like the one in the center, but want just a hint of marble, this marbled flower pot is def the way to go. I hope you guys enjoyed this post, until next time!
