FPM- 3 Flowers to Add to Your Cut Flower Bouquet
Flower Power Monday
When making my weekly cut flower arrangements, I am never bias on which flowers I use from my garden. This summer, I experimented with these three flowers. I think you will like these ideas and hopefully use them in your future floral bouquets. Can you guess what they are just from their pictures?
If you guessed Marigold, Snap Dragon, and Plumbago, you guessed right!
If you’re not familiar with the Plumbago, here are a few more pictures. They are an annual, but in my Georgia, USA home, they’re a perennial; meaning they come back year after year. I absolutely love the vivid blue color, don’t you?
You can purchase your own blue plumbago seeds here. Or you can use these blue forget me not seeds that come in their own planter here. Now, here they are in my arrangements. All flowers are from my garden.
So the question is, did they work in a cut flower arrangement? The answer is yes. The marigold lasted longer than both the snap dragon and plumbago. The plumbago lasted the shortest length of time, but for the look, they’re def worth adding, right?
