Flower Power Monday
Happy Monday, Friends! Happy New Year! Happy, happy, happy! Its been a minute since I’ve posted, but I’m not going to lie, I do indeed hibernate during the winter. Yes, it’s still technically winter, but here in GA, we’ve been enjoying some sunny temperatures in the 50’s and 60’s and I’m so here for it.
As for my garden, I already have lots of seedlings coming up from seeds I sowed outdoors at the end of January. I sowed forget-me-nots, snapdragons, aster, carnations, anemone, stock, and lisianthus which I’m most excited about. If you’re unfamiliar with lisianthus, I highly suggest you look them up. They’re similar to roses with their ruffled petals, but without the thorns, ranging in colors from white, purple, to pink. You may also know them as Texas bluebells or poor man’s rose; which I hate to use because lisianthus are def an eye-catching focal flower that holds its own in an arrangement.
In other garden news, I’m finally using my garden planner and guys, it’s truly a game changer! It has everything a gardener needs; pages for garden ideas, notes, your plant list, and even graph paper to create visuals of your own garden. Check out the slideshow below.
When searching for a garden planner online, be sure to check measurements. The common problem on Amazon is size. You don’t want a planner you can barely write in due to it being so small. I did find one for you guys that measures 8.5 x 9.3 which is similar to mine in size.
Until next time, stay blessed!
