Affordable Gift Guide For Her
I’ve come across so many gift guides online, but rarely do I find one that list simple gifts for any budget and can easily be found in local stores even last minute if needed. Here’s a simple gift guide obtained from all the beautiful gifts that I’ve received and/or have gifted to others over the years.
I’ve received everything from homemade cards to the cars of my dreams; all of which have put a huge smile on my face. The gift pictured above was a basket filled with assorted items gifted to me from my sister and kids; a “Don’t Be a Karen” shirt, pretty pink packaged drinks and nut snacks, millionaire chocolate (because of course everyone wishes to be gifted chocolate and a cool mil), assorted jewelry and hair bows, scented soap, and a “You Grow Girl” mug/pot. I loved everything in my basket. It was everything I love in a gift: hints of femininity, something to wear, something to eat (yes, I’m greedy and love food gifts), and of course a bit of humor as well. They all purchased items separately, then came together and put them all in a basket.
For those coming from Pinterest, if the highlighted link doesn’t work, you may have to click the 3 dots in the bottom corner to open in browser. Without further ado, here’s my simple gift guide for her:
- Monogrammed Items – Everyone loves something with their name, initial or birth month/day. With Etsy, there’s no limit to the monogrammed gifts you can choose from.
- Pajamas/ Slippers or cute undies
- Cute or Funny Socks, Tees, Hats ~ Try these animal socks, donut socks, fruit socks, or candy socks
- Earrings– Try these pineapple earrings or these feather earrings / pineapple earrings which can also come in P
- Make Up brushes ( I do not advise buying the actual make up unless you know their specific brand and color)
- Lip Glosses or Lip Balms (Lipstick colors can be a bit tricky which is why I listed a gloss or balm)
- Potted House Plants or Flowers ~ Try this heart plant or this blue flower Forget Me Not with wood planter, or this faux plant
- Necklace or Bracelet
- Nail Polish- You can also include the polish remover, top coat and base coat along with your main color(s)
- Candle/ Candle Holder- Note: People rave about Bath & Body Work’s candles.
- Decorative Flowerpots for the garden lover
- Jewelry Box – Try this Glass Jewelry Box or this one with green velvet. I also like this jewelry box
- Calendar/ Planner/ Organizer
- Scented Hand Soaps/ Soap Bar ~ Click on the highlighted links to the left or get this lotion and soap set
- A good Book, Magazine of Interest, or even this best selling journal
- Body Lotions or Body Mists
- Favorite Chocolates, Candy, Drink, Or Snacks
- Home Decor Items such as bed sheets (must know bed size), hand towels, picture frames, decorative pillow (See below)
- Workout Clothes or Shoes
- Gift Cards – If you’re totally unsure about what to get, you really can’t go wrong with cash or a gift card. No more are the days of having those boring silver $50 (and up) Visa gift cards as your only option on display at the checkout and let’s not mention that whooping $4.95 fee to go with it (yikes). Retailers have really stepped up their game in offering $0 fee gift cards. They also offer them in dollar amounts that fit just about every budget and some allow you to choose your own dollar amount. The improved designs make gift cards even more fun to receive. Don’t forget you can also add their favorite candy or buy one of those cute little gift card boxes available next to the cards to go with it. Purchase one to their favorite store or restaurant (including Fast food chains). Stay tuned for my simple men’s gift guide…
